National Health Center Week

This week began the National Health Center Week. To commemorate the seriousness and the public policy comment Illinois Governor JB Pritzker signed two new bills into law.

The first bill is bipartisan legislation that will improve and streamline access to critical behavioral health services for Illinoisans. Among many important provisions, the law lays the foundation to reduce inappropriate MCO payment denials and significantly eases administrative burdens on contracted providers.

The other bill that is now the law is Medicaid reform bill which brings more transparency in Medicaid funding. the new reform expands health care access and eliminating the multi-year Medicaid backlogs for millions of people in Illinois.

While diligent work went and both sides of the aisle took these steps to ensure

Illinoisans have access to quality and timely care the

26th legislative district was not represented.

This was many votes that the appointed State Representative of the 26th District didn't participate. This is long with not providing support to prevent Young People from contracting HIV as well as not being around when the legislature considered lifting the ban on Rent Control. Since the appointment that the Democratic Party leaders choose a person that has missed votes and failed to do the job of representing the interest of the people of the 26th District.

We have an opportunity as neighbors, residents, community stakeholders to come together and select a REAL representative of our interest in Springfield.

Join and support other 26th District constituents and join People To Elect Marc Loveless.
